Oct 2020. This was our second mountain in the Lugano region which we hiked. The hiking starts at the base of the mountain. The hike was though the forest with a lake view all the time. There were two passage along the hiking path where the trees were broken blocking the path but you can navigate with ease if you are sporty.

It was a 16 minute ride and buses depart every 30 minutes. From the Cassarate, Monte Brè bus stop, it was a short walk to the Monte Brè funicular.
